More about the artists:

Stefanie Adis

Stefanie Adis (born in 1988) works with different media, brush, spatula, pen, slider, foil. She pours ink or liquid acrylic paint onto plates and lets the paint dry. Chance always decides. After all, the liquid colors should flow without Adis having a concrete effect. This creates an interplay of coincidence and intention, of structure and chaos, of process and completion. Adis studied art education and cultural journalism at the Universität der Künste in Berlin and had exhibitions in Europe.

Kaja El Attar

Kaja El Attar's pictures appear simple, they need no commentary. And they radiate harmony. But this harmony is not static, it hovers in an intermediate space of opposites, impossible to pin down or hold on to, only intuitively graspable. The geometric and the organic, the regular and the deviant, the rationally controlled and the uncontrollable coincidence, the narrative derived from colourful life and the clarity of cool abstraction, the use of colour and the retreat from it into the sharp contrast of black and white - for Attar, the contradiction is not resolved by a simple decision for the one and against the other.

Through her art, she expresses a unique connection between the external world and her internal state, where every piece embodies a specific feeling. Music plays a key role in her creative process, influencing the rhythm and flow of her work. Her studio is a space where these various influences merge, allowing her to create dynamic, emotionally charged art that resonates with the viewer.
