Daria Lavrova
Daria Lavrova (1980, lives and works in Amsterdam) develops a precise, analytical visual language situated between line, structure, and surface.
Her work—primarily graphic series and linocuts—explores urban and constructed systems as rhythmic fields of order and movement. Observing the city as a complex interplay of architecture, infrastructure, and shifting visual relations, she translates these impressions into condensed compositional structures.
Using reduced means, she builds images that oscillate between constructive clarity and abstract dissolution. Line, grid, and perspectival shifts become carriers of structure, energy, and internal dynamics.
The resulting works form condensed visual spaces that transform the urban environment into a precise and graphic language of form.
