Pascal Richard Flämig is a German artist whose work is characterized by an examination of psychological states, social structures and inner perception. After working in the visual trade and the fashion industry, he found his way to painting following a formative stay in hospital. Since then, this medium has formed the center of his artistic practice.

Flämig's works move between abstraction and fragment and are characterized by a sensitive balance of intuition and composition. With a feel for color, structure and surface, he creates fragile pictorial spaces in which order and dissolution, control and letting go are juxtaposed. His works open up quiet, multi-layered spaces for reflection.
