Born in Lithuania, Deividas Šidlauskas is a self-taught artist. His work does not follow a plan or a technique that he has learned; rather, intuition and the heart decide, which allows the artist to have a strong connection to his art.
How did you get into art?For a long time had that thought that I should start painting. But never really believed and trusted my self that I am capable to do so, becouse of no background in to it and other reasons. Long story short, I friend of mine just pushed me in to it.
How would you describe your style? What makes your work special?
Don't really think about any of those capable styles. It's more about my own experiences on daily life, sometimes social behaviours also. What is important for me, that I do not stuck In a particular style or look. Change is what makes the process beautiful.
How do you go about developing your work?
It develops by it self.
