Katherine Ann Miller was born in North Rhine-Westphalia where she still lives and works. Her childhood was fulfilled with creativity. Later, she became a media designer and worked many years in that field until 2021 when she decided to fully concentrate on her passion for art.
How did you get into art?
I loved to paint and to draw since I can remember. My family especially my aunt supported my creative side by signing me up for art courses in my childhood. So since I was a little kid I always wanted to paint.
How would you describe your style? What makes your work special?
My paintings are a reflection of my emotions, memories and longings. They are emotional fantasy landscapes that are intuitively evolving. Sometimes with bright and vibrant colors, sometimes with soft pastel colors. Everyday new experiences like a diary entry.
How do you go about developing your work?
Often I'm starting with a meditation before I start to paint. Then I use my intuition and allow myself to stay playful and open for changes. Totally trust my inner voice and the process. Let my feelings and creativity guide me to express myself freely though my art. Let the positive energy flow and also transform the negative energy into something positive and beautiful.
Who or what influences you?
I'm influenced by a lot of things. My emotions, memories, experiences, the love to nature, the universe, the painting process by itself, little moments. Everything around me.

Soon I will move in a bigger studio so I will have more possibilities and space to try out new things.
